What is DHL FastTrack?
DHL FastTrack is an online service that allows you to pay for the transportation, by DHL Express, of your passport request application from the Embassy/General Consulate in the country you reside in to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants in Lebanon and your newly issued passport from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants back to the Embassy/General Consulate. FastTrack will enable you to pay for and print the required shipping documents for both sectors (from Embassy/General Consulate to Ministry and from Ministry to Embassy/General Consulate). Once you have printed the documents, take them with you to the embassy/general consulate, complete and submit your passport application.
Operations
Can't I simply take my completed passport application and bring it to my local DHL office and send it to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants in Lebanon?
No. Once you have completed and submitted your application it must remain within the jurisdiction of the Lebanese government and must be sent directly from the embassy/general consulate to the ministry in Lebanon and back to the embassy from which the application was filed. An additional benefit is special pricing that has been arranged by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Lebanese expatriates.
Can I obtain and submit my passport renewal application through DHL FastTrack?
No. You must visit the Lebanese Embassy/General Consulate closest to you in order to obtain and submit the application form. Call the Lebanese Embassy/General Consulate or visit <a href='http://www.mfa.gov.lb/english/home' target='_blank'>www.mfa.gov.lb</a> for more information. We suggest that you complete the DHL FastTrack process and bring your shipping documents with you, after completing the online process, to the embassy to avoid having to make more than one visit.
Do I have to use DHL FastTrack to send my application and receive my new passport?
No. You do not have to use FastTrack but it will shorten the time it will take to complete the issuance of your passport(s) by reducing the time it takes to transport your documents to and from Lebanon.
Do I have to print shipping documents for each passport application if I am submitting more than one application?
No. You can send up to 20 passports request applications with one set of shipping documents. Simply follow the steps on the FastTrack site to add additional passports.
Who do I contact for assistance with FastTrack?
Please e-mail fasttrack@dhl.com or call 00961-1-625256 for assistance with FastTrack. Please do not contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants for queries on the status of your shipment.
Can I contact DHL in the country in which I reside for information or assistance with FastTrack?
For the sake of efficiency all FastTrack queries should be directed to DHL Express Lebanon via the above mentioned channels. Only DHL Express Lebanon will be able to assist you with queries on FastTrack.
Who do I call to inquire about the status of my passport request?
For information on your passport request you should contact the Lebanese Embassy/General Consulate from which you filed the application or the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigration in Lebanon. DHL will not have any information on the status of your application.

Who do I contact for information on the status of my shipment either from the Embassy/General Consulate to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or from the Ministry to the Lebanese Embassy/General Consulate?
You will receive notifications by e-mail when once your shipment is dispatched and delivered on both sectors or by visiting www.dhl.com.
How long will the Passport Request process take?
The processing of the application is handled by the Lebanese authorities and any question pertaining to the application must be presented to them. The transit time of your consignment should be no longer than 7 days (round trip). Specific transit times will be quoted when you complete the process on FastTrack.
How will I know when my passport is on its way back to the Embassy/General Consulate where I filed the application?
Once your passport(s) are collected by a DHL courier in Lebanon from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants you will receive a notification by e-mail. You will receive another notification once it is delivered to the embassy/general consulate. You will collect your passport from the embassy/general consulate.
